How It Works

Three moving parts: an account that lives on DigiFX, a library that lives in the Media Console runtime, and a player that asks permission every time.

1 · Your account is a DigiFX account

There is no separate DigiStudios password. Accounts are created at digifx.com, and signing in here asks DigiFX for a session rather than holding one of its own.

Browser sessions are tied to a single domain, so a DigiFX session cannot simply be read by this one. Instead a short-lived, single-use code is exchanged for a session that belongs to DigiStudios. The code expires in two minutes, is bound to this exact site, and cannot be reused.

2 · The library is served, not copied

Titles live once, in the Media Console runtime. DigiStudios never keeps a second copy — it reads a published index and shows you what is in it. A creator's workspace is not a public library: nothing appears here until it has been explicitly published.

3 · Playback is authorised per press of play

When you press play, the player asks for a short-lived signed link to that one title, resolved at that moment and expiring shortly after. Nothing is handed out in advance and nothing is shareable for long. If a link expires mid-session, the player quietly asks for another.
